NATIONAL CLOSET GROUP AND ROSEBURG ANNOUNCE AVAILABILTY OF SKYBLEND™ LOW EMISSION CORE
Roseburg SkyBlend is another environmentally friendly green, Specifiable product produce by Roseburg. It is SCS and EPP certified to be 100% pre-consumer recycled wood fiber particleboard that has no Urea Formaldehyde added during the manufacturing process. It combines low emission standards, certified recycled content, sustainable raw materials, with the reliability and proven industry track record of wood based particleboard.
Roseburg SkyBlend offers design flexibility because it can be substituted in any particleboard application that requires a tighter emission standard.
Major uses for Roseburg SkyBlend include:

- Furniture
- Fixtures
Third party testing verifies Roseburg SkyBlend formaldehyde emissions (0.00 - 0.01 ppm) are no greater than levels occurring in outdoor ambient air conditions. Roseburg SkyBlend emissions compare favorably with agri-fiber products and wood based composite panels using MDI resin.
Roseburg SkyBlend’s core is tinted blue, making the product readily identifiable in the field.
Roseburg SkyBlend is available as raw particleboard or can be specified as a low emitting core for mixed loads of Roseburg Hardwood Plywood, Melamine Panels, UV Cured Finishes and Shelving.
Roseburg SkyBlend is available through an extensive network of defined distributors, making the product readily available in all major markets.
Roseburg SkyBlend will contribute to achieving Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED™) credits for: Materials and Resources –
Recycled Content MR 4.1 & MR 4.2,
Regional Materials MR 5.1 & MR 5.2, and Environmental Quality EQ 4.4.

Environmentally friendly SkyBlend particleboard is produced from wood fiber and has no Urea Formaldehyde added during the manufacturing process. It is universally known as the premier substrate for green industrial, residential, and architecturally specified projects. It is sanded to an extremely smooth, tight, and grainless surface on both sides. The core has a controlled distribution pattern of particles that creates the perfect dimensionally stable panel. It has been verified and certified by both the Composite Panel Association (EPP) and the Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) that Roseburg SkyBlend particleboard is produced using 100% pre-consumer recycled fiber content (fiber basis). Its formaldehyde emissions tested (0.00 - 0.01 ppm).
